About the event
Let's go, ROUND TWO!
Gatherwell has partnered with Erin L. to offer a bi-weekly community event. This is for anyone who enjoys hot / cold cycling, and is looking to dive a bit deeper into the mind-body connection and fueling of the creative spirit.
This session is an opportunity to explore the variations and possibilities of embodied living and what it means to step into the space of aliveness together. This is an invitation to embody Self through movement, breath, and bringing mindfulness to a cold plunge experience. The session will close with an opportunity for open writing and conversation about your personal meaning of embodiment.
The session will flow through:
- Basic meditation techniques for clarity, grounding, and becoming aware of your own relationship to yourself and your creative practice
- Intentional movement to connect you with your physical energy, to regulate your nervous system, and release any stagnation that has built up
- Breathing practices to deepen your present awareness, awakening to the pleasure of a calmed state, and experiencing interconnection with those in the group
- Hot & cold cycling for inducing states of euphoria, relaxation, self-discipline, and purification of your physical, mental and spiritual systems
- We will close with creative exercises to discover how to fuel your creative practice, and reflect on how your creative practice fuels you.
This session will be facilitated by the lovely Erin Longo. Erin has been a Yoga teacher and mindfulness guide for over 3 years. She is inspired by the spiritual and psychological dimensions of life, and grounds this passion through compassion and the creation of community.
